The Project Pan Plan Part 2 – Stretch Goals

img_5482-1

I wanted to include powder products but was nervous that I wouldn’t actually be able to finish them. I added some in as stretch goals. Goals that would be amazing to reach but likely won’t happen by the new year… but why not challenge yourself?

Wet’n’Wild Mega Glo Contouring Palette in Dulce De Leche – I think this palette is ok but not amazing. I heard so much hype about it that I immediately bought it the first time I found it in stores in Canada. I find that the setting powder (or matte highlight) is quite nice and I use it as a setting powder. The contour powder is more of a matte bronzer than contour. I was let down when I tried it as a contour. I use it as a bronzer now. I don’t bronze daily so if I use up all the setting powder I will be happy. This was only a $5.99 product so it’s not like I will cry over only using half of it. If it was $59 I’d be more upset!

Wet’n’Wild Color Icon Blush in Rose Champagne & Pearlescent Pink – I love these. I really do. They’re so affordable, they look beautiful and they last all day. They were already in my drawer and I was very happy to keep using them so why not try to hit pan?

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 – I’ve already used this one quite a bit. You can start to see some wear on the shadows but no pan yet! In the new year I’d like to buy a warmer toned matte palette because I have 3 cooler toned matte palettes and no warm toned ones! In fact, I have very few warm toned eyeshadows in my collection. It’s something I’m looking to fix. I’d like to use this one palette until I find the warm toned matte palette that I want and I feel I got my moneys worth out out of this palette or I hit pan. Whatever comes first.

There are my stretch goals! I’m ok if I don’t use up these products 100%. I just want to use them until I feel comfortable retiring them. I want to start getting my moneys worth out of the makeup I buy. That’s what this is all about!
