The Project Pan Plan Part 1

img_5481

I tried to do a project pan several months ago and go distracted. I have quite a few products that I’m at the end of and a few others that I just want to use. I’d like to use up as much as I can before the end of the year to make room for Holiday purchases and my inevitable clearance shopping haul 🙂

Here’s what I want to use up!

Skin Care:

Bioderma Micellar Water (sample size) – Nat gave me a full size of a milk version of this as well. I just need to finish this bottle so I can move on to the next and make some room.

Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner – Love this! It’s more than half gone. When I finish it up I will repurchase it for sure. I might try the cucumber one instead though.

Laneige Mask – This is a premium sample of a mask that I received. If I manage to use this up it will mean that I’m spending a little more time on myself. That would make me happy so this is in my “to use pile” for my soul 🙂 I’ve used this once.

Hand Cream (various) – I have sooooo many of these! I get them as free samples and gifts mainly. I want to use up as much as I can because Christmas is coming and I’m sure someone will give me a gorgeous set that will need my love.

Perfume:

Lavanilla Roller Ball Samples – I have 2 more in the cupboard. I layer this with the body spray. I’d like to buy more perfume soon but I’d like to finish what I have first. Nearly gone.

Bath and Body Works Peach & Honey Almond Body Spray – same as the Lavanilla perfume. More than half gone already.

Makeup:

Nars Creamy Concealer Vanilla (sample size) – This appears to be near the end. I’d like to use it up because I have a full sized NYX concealer that is similar and needs love!

Nars Creamy Concealer Honey (Full Size) – This one is almost 2 years old (for shame Sheena…). I use it as a corrector under my eyes. It works well for that purpose. I have a NYX corrector that needs attention and is much newer so I want to get this one out of the way. If it’s not gone by spring I will likely toss it. I don’t want to use a product that is too old near my eyes.

Nars Eyeliner Black (sample size) – This is just about done. It’s also old and needs to be used up or thrown out.

Marc Jacobs Eyeliner Black (sample size) – Old and needs to be used! I have more left than the Nars one though. I also have another sample of this that is unopened and waiting to be broken in so I’d like to finish up my old eyeliners in favour of newer ones.

Mac Paint Pot Painterly – This isn’t that old and is almost half gone. I want to use it up before it dries out. I won’t repurchase since MAC is no longer cruelty free 😦

Smashbox Primer Water (sample size) – This is more than half gone. I actually enjoy this product but Smashbox is no longer cruelty free. I need to use this one up and find something comparable to replace it with.

Marcelle CC Cream – I have about half a dozen complexion products that I need to use. I chose to use up this one first because it’s so easy to throw on in the morning. It does need help with a primer and setting powder in order to make it last.

Julep Lipglosses – These are my last 2 full sized ones. I love these but they are at least 2 years old and need to be used before they go bad! Once they’re gone I have 2 sample sized ones from them that I have to be used up as well.

So this is what I need to tackle! Ambitious? yes! But I will be so happy if I use up actual makeup. I feel like I buy a ton of stuff to gently use it then give it away for free. I don’t mind at all giving it to Nat and Missy because we always pass makeup around among ourselves but it saddens me to see the bags I send to people I don’t know for free.

I really want to use more of my makeup up and have set a strategy to do so!
