Missy’s April Favorites

I’m so pleased with myself for getting four posts done this month. It may not seem like a big accomplishment, but for me it represents a balance my life has been sorely lacking for the past while.

I’m super psyched to share my April favorites. Make-up wise this month was dominated by the Sephora sale and some great hauls. I also found the time to organize my ‘go-to’ make-up drawer in an effort to start rotating my palettes and curb frustration during hectic mornings when I’m looking for that ONE specific color!

I don’t want to be too repetitive from my hauls so I’ll focus on some older items that made the cut.

UD Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette

I’ve worshipped Gwen Stefani and her aesthetic since middle school. I love her mix of punk and old-school Hollywood glam style.  She just always seems flawless and stylish with her platinum blonde hair, the bold lips, and her neutral, well-lined eyes. This palette offers a variety or gold and rose tinged neutrals with some great dark colors for lining or smoking up the look. I find it’s a great palette to grab for work.

UD Gwen Stefani Brow Box

I got this beauty on sale and I love it! Great for fair haired ladies and just absolutely beautiful and sturdy packaging. Natural looking and it works.

Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Stain

A couple of times a year the 3CBs get together to swap make-up. Sheena gave up two of these and I love them. It is the perfect soothing remedy for dry cheeks and lips.

Hourglass Mineral Veil

Just awesome. Makes my skin feel 10 years younger and makes my foundation last all day.

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey

This is moisturizing with just the right amount of color. Th bullet is constructed well  and is the right size for precise application. I find it handy for brightening up my face before heading to the park with my toddler for an adventure!

What are you loving right now?
