Hey Guys, this week on Yay or Nay Sunday, we are looking at Makeup Geek’s duochrome eyeshadows.
You guys know that I have a slight obsession with Makeup Geek eyeshadows and these are no objection. They swatch beautifully, have the same great formula as all the other Makeup Geek shadows and they are only $6 each (US of course) but that still comes out cheaper than some other brands with similar or less quality.
There is 12 shades in this collection for the pressed duochrome shadows and 8 loose duochrome pigments. I didn’t get any loose pigments because I don’t tend to reach for them as much as a pressed shadow, but I must admit I was very tempted! They are even more intense then the pressed and as you can see below, they are already gorgeous!
For me, these are a big old Yay, you can’t beat the quality for the price. There is a great range of colours and duochrome adds so a whole other range of colours. These are great for a simple look that can be done with one of these all over the lid, a transition shade in the crease and bam, insta look that will look great especially in the daylight.
