Yay or Nay Sunday – Live Clean Body Butter

This week on Yay or Nay Sunday – Live Clean Body Butter.

A couple weeks ago, Sheena posted about 3 other Live Clean products. You can read about them here.  Were were sent these items by Live Clean and we decided to review them. Honest review only, promise 😀

I tried this body butter since I cannot get enough hydrating products since I have very dry skin, especially on my legs. The hunt continues for the perfect body butter and when a Canadian, cruelty-free, eco-friendly brand with plant ingredients comes along, it is hard to pass up!

So I have been testing out this body butter for a while and I really like it!

If you have used the Body Shop body butters, then I can easily compare the texture of the Live Clean one as being a little thicker than the Body Shop ones. With that comes the fact that you have to really work it into the skin. It is not too much that it would make it not worth using because it takes too long, so that is good. I have used other body butters that are a lot more like liquid cream and I don’t find that those hold moisture as good as a thicker consistency as this Live Clean one.

When I apply it to my skin, it goes in and it feels refreshing. I actually noticed that the leg that I applied the body butter lost of the redness that always haunt my legs, that impressed me. It didn’t last very long but that told me that it was well penetrated in my skin.

The only thing that I wasn’t as thrilled with was that it smells a bit like citronella because it has a lemon type smell. But the lasting power of the moisture beats out the smell. Plus, the smell goes away quickly so you don’t smell like a bug spray all day, don’t worry hehehe.

I was surprised to come back and fee like my legs hours later and still feel like they were moisturized. And trust me, it is hard to keep my legs moisturized. I will for sure use this to the last drop!
