Yay or Nay Sunday – Opal Crème Lipstick

Last week we took a look at the Opal Lipgloss, which was a Yay, and now we are turning our attention towards the Opal Crème Lipstick, which is also a Yay!

Let’s get to the Opal Crème Lipstick. It retails for $28 CAD which is the same price as their other Luminous Crème Lipsticks. I appreciate that since they could have easily made it more expensive since it’s “special”. It is now available both online and in stores. Here is what the Sephora website describes the lipgloss as:

What it is:
A two-tone pearl, sheer cream lipstick for a multidimensional lip look.

What it does:
BITE Beauty’s Opal Crème Lipstick is designed to be applied on its own for an iridescent finish, or apply top of any lip color to add an ultraviolet dimension. Its infusion of organic fruit butters leaves creamy texture that conditions and nourishes lips with every use. Use this lipstick as a highlighter for a sheer, iridescent glow.

The lipstick is all what it says in the description. It is also the same great formula, or at least it feels like it, then the Luminous Crème Lipsticks. So if you like the look and you like the effect it gives, this unique lipstick is sure worth it.

Much like the lipgloss, the stick will get full of the lipstick colour. I found this one much harder to remove than the lipgloss, as you can see in the picture below.

If you were to pick up just one  of the Opal products (because I think it is worth it), I would pick the lipgloss for the better colour pay off and to transform a lipstick but I would pick the lipstick just to wear by itself. Up to you to decide. 🙂
