This month I’ve been crushing on face washes and products to get my skin golden and glowing.
First up is First Aid Beauty Face Cleaner. I got a deluxe sample of this amazing fragrance-free, gentle cleanser. It really works well at removing make-up and other impurities and then keeping your skin soft and even toned. I also found it has a clay ‘mask-like’ effect and will bring stubborn clogged pores to the surface (consider this your warning). I’d almost say that at first it cleanses your face too well, but then I find that kind of clean addictive. Another bonus is that a little bit goes a long way since I’ve been using the deluxe sample size of this product for over a month now.
Fresh Soy Face Cleanser is another deluxe sample I scored from Sephora and overall it’s a pretty awesome face wash that’s great for cleaning your skin when you just need to freshen up (like after swimming or a morning run). It’s gentler then the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser so I find it’s great after getting too much sun/wind or getting your face waxed. A bonus feature of this lovely product is that it’s a great cleanser to wash away those last stubborn bits of make-up off your face and is especially effective against mascara!
Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm in a tinted body lotion/foundation/glow combo that I’ve been using to blur imperfections, conceal cellulite, and give my ghost legs a wee bit of colour. I love it because it’s idiot proof. The pay off is instant. The colour/coverage you get is what you see and the best bit is that it dries as quickly as lotion so you can wear white after applying the product without worry! It’s foundation for your body!
Too Faced Soleil Matte Bronzer in Medium to Deep is a delicious chocolate scented matte bronzer that rocks at neutralizing red and evening out my skintone. I love that my face is left with a really subtle flawless finish, a gorgeous glow, and a subtly sweet scent. Best part is that it works on people that don’t naturally tan because it never looks orangey! It’s sheer without being invisible – Too Faced has simply perfected bronzers in my opinion!
I’d love to hear back if anyone has some great ‘idiot-proof’ tanning products for the fair skinned!
