Yay or Nay Sunday – Becca / Jaclyn Hill Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop!

Yaaass! This week on Yay or Nay Sunday, I am featuring the collaboration between BECCA Cosmetics and Youtubber/Beauty Guru Jaclyn Hill. This wonderful collaboration created the Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop.

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw my posts on this highlighter. I was so excited to get it that I brought it with me to dinner with my husband so I could open it in the car while he drove 😀 So the pictures are in the car lol.

As you can see, this is a beauty. It was released on July 2 at noon est and with the changes to Sephora Canada warehouse/shipping, it wasn’t available right away to Canadians. It was disappointing but Sephora fixed it within 4 hours of it being released. That’s when I snagged it for the same price as the other perfectors at $46 and happy I did.

If you have used BECCA’s shimmering skin perfectors before, like the classic Opal and Moonstone, you will be happy to know that Champagne Pop is the same amazing formula. It is soft, pigmented and the highlight on the cheeks is amazing. It’s lile BAM! In your face. As Jaclyn would say, “highlight on fleek!”

Champagne Pop is beautiful. It is a gold peachy shade that I love to use with a nude blush, like Nude Pop from Clinique. Lots of Pop on the cheeks hehehe. That combination gives a glowy, bronzed look that is perfect for the summer. In the picture below, I wanted something more punchy so I used Ginger Pop with Champagne Pop.

Unfortunately, this highlighter is hard to find now. Some stores still have it in stock, so if you can find it, snag it. If not, grab Moonstone or Opal, they are equally beautiful.
