Ladies this kit is amazing FULL STOP!

As in my brother-in-law thought I actually tanned amazing!

I would dare to say this kit has more than one thing for everyone and the products and colours are GORGEOUS! This box contains a cool kid party of some seriously popular items.

Opening the box ... ooooo
Opening the box … ooooo

Being so fair I’m not one to dive into browns and bronzes but I’ve embraced the colours in this nifty box.

Here are some swatches (please notice other fair skinned girls: browns and bronzes can look like bruises on our skin so when you swatch make sure the colours stand out and look pretty instead of muddy and painful)

Now unfortunately as I write this it appears Sephora has already sold out of this kit :(. However there are some SERIOUS SUMMER MUST BUYS in here. So if you feel like making this kit from scratch let me give you the low down on what you NEED and the other stuff that you might just simply WANT 😉

Becca Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal

STATUS: NEED

This powder is magical. ABSOLUTELY magical. I currently have it sitting in my Sephora shopping basket just because I don’t ever want to run out. Seriously, it’s fairy godmother dust. It livens up tired skin, improves the look or blush, bronzers, and eyeshadows and leaves you with an amazing glow.

Tarte The Scuptor Contouring Face Slederizer in Park Ave. Princess

STATUS: WANT

This is a cool product if you want to bronze and sculpt but you don’t feel like messing with brushes. Great colour, great consistency, and it lasts. Definitely worth adding to your shopping basket.

Too Faced Cosmetics  Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

STATUS: NEED

So the reason you need this product is that it smells sooooooo freaking good that sometimes I open it just to get a hit of that amazing chocolate smell. They use real cocoa powder in this product so it’s aromatherapy and brilliant bronzer in one!

Urban Decay Split Pan Eyeshadown in Half Baked and Twice Baked

STATUS: WANT

Two great neutral eyeshadow colours that you can have alot of fun playing with. Completely necessary? no … but buying some Urban Decay shadow is never a bad idea 🙂

Formula X Nail Color in Evocative

STATUS: NEED

I didn’t think that I’d like a ‘brown’ nail colour but this colour and formula are awesome. It’s trendy enough to wear to a party but muted enough to be great for the office. It’s one of those colours that go with everything and will never go out of style.  The colour is classic and chic just like a great pair of jeans.

Nars Lip Gloss in Supervixen

STATUS: WANT

Nars is another one of those brands I worship. While I’m not in love with the Supervixen colour, the formula is great and long lasting. I’m finding myself layering this gloss over some of my winter berry lip colours in order to ‘summer-fy’ them with it’s infusion of warmth. Definitely a fun splurge!

Bite Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencil in Madeira

STATUS: MEH

While I LOVE Bite Beauty and their High Pigment Pencils this colour is just too pale for me to ever pull off. I find it just makes me look dehydrated! If you’re going for the ‘ghost lip’ look then this is a definite buy for you. However I really feel that only someone with Angelina Jolie lips can pull off a lip colour this pale and still look good.

Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil in Cocoa-Shimmer

S TATUS: WANT

I gotta say this is one of the best Sephora-own brand products I’ve come across. What makes this pencil special isn’t just the long lasting smooth application formula – it’s the faint shimmer. The shimmer is rich and highlights the eyes wiothout looking clumsy and glittery. It’s a great way to subtly intensity the overall bronze look the rest of this box of goodies creates. If you’re looking for a good brown liner that has something a little special I highly recommend this product.

This is a great box set and it’s perfect for summer or whenever you need to give your skin a warm up. If you can’t buy this kit from Sephora, I hope you find my buying guide helpful!

Cheers!
