Do you ever like a new make-up item so much that you get mad at it?
You want to scream at it “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!”
Well that’s how I feel about the Stila Stay All Day® 10-in-1 HD Beauty Balm Trio Broad-Spectrum SPF 30. I’m literally angry that I haven’t had this product in my life. I’m furious at all the effort I’ve spent on applying different layers of make-up to get the same effect that these BB creams create. In other words, I’m beyond happy with this purchase.
These beauties would be the BEST thing ever for a cottage, camping, or any other vacation that frowns upon make-up but where there will still be pictures. I mean this is a MULTI-PURPOSE product. It’s your suncreen AND your moisturizer! So if anyone rolls their eyes at you applying it, just offer them some since we should all be concerned with ‘skin protection.’ (Bonus points if you say it in a condescending tone!)
Also this stuff is EFFORTLESS! Just a few dabs (forehead, each cheek, under each eye, nose and chin for me) and this stuff just TRANSFORMS your skin from ‘no make-up blah’ to ‘beauty queen’ skin. The formula is extremely blendable and melts on our skin like silk water. You can wear it all day and not feel it!
What I find the best about this product is how well each of the formulas blend to compliment skin tones. Personally, I’m on the very fair side of the skin spectrum with pink undertones but I would still recommend this product to people with medium skin colorations. This product also has staying power. Personally, I like to finish it off with some face powder because I have oily skin but I don’t even think it needs that. These three beauties are going to be my serious go-tos for the summer.
Now here are some swatches:
The other awesome thing about this BB ‘snack pack’ is the price: $32 CAD whereas a full size of the BB runs $50 a pop (eep!). So this is a great way to try them all out without spending a fortune. The fact that I’m even considering shelling out $50 CAD for this product should tell you its amazing!
Speaking of shelling out $50 smackers for a BB cream I think I could use some help deciding. The problem is that I can’t decide which one I prefer more. I mean the normal BB mattifies and just makes my skin look good; the illuminating makes my skin look dewy and ethereal; and the bronzer one gives me the most natural looking tan.
Below are three selfies and I would love it if you responded to the poll to help me decide which one looks best. (excuse the lighting and my photography!) Thanks!
