I’m a big fan of Pur Minerals. They are available exclusively at Shoppers Drugmart or online through the Shopping Channel. You can also order directly through Pur Minerals website: http://www.purminerals.com. Since I really like Pur Minerals I decided that I wanted to try ordering directly through them. Their 4 in 1 Foundation is actually a little cheaper on line than it is in the store so it makes sense for me to order directly from them when possible. This post is really just a summary of my own personal experience of ordering online from Pur Minerals which hopefully will help answer any questions someone might have when ordering through Pur Minerals in Canada.
I wanted to replenish my foundation, the 4 in 1 pressed mineral foundation. On their website it’s $27 CDN and at Shoppers it’s about $34. Pur Minerals offers free shipping to Canada after $50 or more of purchases. Unfortunately I did not take advantage of the free shipping. I waited for a good sale, their BOGO event. If you buy 1 product you get another of the exact same product for FREE! I was able to get 2 of my 4 in 1 pressed mineral foundation for the price of $27, which is already cheaper than Shoppers! What a great way to replenish your staples. Unfortunately it was not in my budget to exceed much more than that so I decided to pay for the shipping. Shipping cost me $6.95. My total was then $33.95 – still less than 1 full priced foundation at Shoppers. I saved $27.
I placed the order on November 21st. Shortly after I placed the order I received a confirmation email informing me that they received my order and they were processing it. They also provided me the phone number of customer service just in case I had questions. Pretty standard stuff!
On November 25th I received a second email from Pur Minerals confirming that my order has been shipped. Since I paid for the service I was a little disappointed that it didn’t include a tracking number. I understand why though. When I saw that it went standard United States Postal Service I was a little concerned that it would take 3-4 weeks to receive my parcel, which has been my experience when using Julep (before they changed shippers) and Modcloth.
On December 1st I came home to my package. It was in a small box and protected well. The product wasn’t damaged at all.
Overall I was very satisfied with my shopping experience at http://www.purminerals.com. From the date I placed the order to the date I received my products it took a week and a half (7 business days)! I will continue to order off of their website because they frequently have great deals. I’ve seen them have 30% off everything, BOGO (real BOGOs too, actual buy one get one free!), and cute freebie deals.
I hope this helps anyone who had questions about Pur Minerals shipping in Canada. It was easy and I’m a satisfied customer! If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask in the comments below.
