Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing – November 2014

This month’s theme is all about girl meets glitter. The bag is just that, glitter. It is a colab with Forever 21 and ipsy, but I sadly have to say that it is a little on the cheaper side. I have nice bags (some of them from past ipsy glam bags) that I would use over this one. I will pass on this bag.

Here are the items that I received this month.

SeaRX Micro-Dermabrasion Face & Body Scrub

“Exfoliate your whole body with this all-over scrub, which utilizes an advanced crystal blend system. The gentle scrub effectively exfoliates, removes dead cells and reveals softer, healthier skin. Featuring minerals and extracts, the formula improves skin tone and leaves you with smoother, firmer looking skin.”

I was not very excited to see this product because this is not an item that I use very much so I will be passing it on. Nothing much else to say here!

Elizabeth Mott you’re so FINE Eyeliner

“It’s not just any liquid eyeliner. With you’re so FINE’s micro-tipped brush, you can control your strokes to create dramatic, and sharp cat eyes! This brush is so control friendly that creating precise, symmetrical lines is ridiculously easy, so it’s perfect for first time liquid eyeliner users too.
The specialized, quick drying formula has intense, inky pigmentation that’s waterproof, meaning it lasts all day without smudging. Just in time for the holidays, the super flirty Glitterati formula will make you the center of attention. All eyes on you, gorgeous!”

This is an interesting item. I do not tend to go towards liquid eyeliners but I have a couple that I really like. I do not have any with glitter in it, during the holidays this could be nice with a neutral eye. I haven’t tried it on yet but I have heard a few vloggers say that Elizabeth Mott is good.

Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Volume Hairspray

“The non-water based, fast drying formula freeze-frames your volume and hold without stickiness or flaking and it’s flexible finish creates workable styles for easy re-styling without crunch or heavy build-up. It creates a luminous finish and shields against humidity for longer lasting styles.”

Very happy to get this item, I am always up to try a new hairspray. I have never tried one with argan oil in it and I can always use more volume. Yay!

tarte Deluxe Maracuja Oil

“Rich in essential fatty acids known to recharge and replenish skin, maracuja oil helps deliver an overall rejuvenated and even-toned complexion while giving the appearance of brighter skin thanks to a high dose of vitamin C. This powerful anti-aging elixir provides instant hydration—quenching dry skin with no greasy or filmy feel.”

This, this is a great item, this deluxe size is sold for $20, more than what my ipsy bag was. I have dry skin and I am excited to try this and see if it gets rid of this problem areas! yay!

Wet n’ Wild MegaSlicks Balm Stain moisturizing colour in Lady & the Vamp

“Amp up your lips with one stick for a kissable pout in no time! The MegaSlicks Balm Stain glides on smoothly while conditioning the lips, keeping you pucker-perfect. Enriched with Acai Palm Oil, this amazing formula forms a protective shield on the lips to prevent feathering. Continuous moisture formula leaves the lips with a unique minty, cooling sensation. No matter how long the kiss, this balm will last and last!”

This is just an ok item, they are sold for pretty cheap at the drug store but that being said, it still feels good on the lips and has great colour. I won’t repurchase and I do have some Clinique balm sticks that is very similar to this, so chances are, I will stick to those. However, this one could be a dupe…

Come back to see my December Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing!
